2025.12.11 Strain rates along the Alpine-Himalayan belt from a comprehensive GNSS velocity field
JGR: Solid Earth
In this study, we derive a strain-rate field for the Alpine-Himalayan Belt from a large compilation of GNSS velocities. We then compare the resulting surface deformation patterns with seismic strain rates, stress indicators, and mantle deformation inferred from seismic anisotropy.

2024.03.15 Resolving the slip-rate inconsistency of the northern Dead Sea fault
Science Advances
We show that the high geologic slip rate along the northern Dead Sea fault might be inflated by earthquake clustering and suggest that the slip-rate decrease from south to north could be explained by splay faults and diffuse offshore deformation.

2021.08.28 Interseismic deformation in the Gulf of Aqaba from GPS measurements
Geophysical Journal International
We derive a new GNSS velocity field around the Dead Sea Fault in the Gulf of Aqaba, showing that the southernmost segment is likely creeping and documenting long-lasting postseismic transient deformation persisting more than 20 years after the 1995 Nuweiba earthquake.
